Tejashwi repeated Lalu’s feat; Sanjay Jha got angry on being called Mithilaanchal, also reminded of Maithili

Janata Dal United (JDU) acting national president and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha has criticized Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Yadav for calling Mithila as Mithilaanchal. He said that Mithila is a large region, which extends beyond the country’s border. Mithila has its own historical heritage. He has said that insulting Mithila is in the DNA of the Lalu family. Tejashwi Yadav has also repeated his father’s feat. He is conspiring to limit and divide Mithila into a small region by calling it Mithilaanchal, which will not be accomplished.

Sanjay Kumar Jha said that during the tenure of Tejashwi Yadav’s father Lalu Yadav, Maithili language was insulted and was removed from BPSC. But when Nitish Kumar took charge of Bihar in 2005, he not only gave Maithili its due by including it again in BPSC, but also gave it due respect.

Not only this, Nitish Kumar, while being the Railway Minister in the government of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, unified Mithila, which was divided into two parts in the 1934 earthquake, by building a Mahasetu on the Kosi river. On his initiative, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had announced the inclusion of Maithili in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Let us tell you that during the Karyakarta Samvad Yatra in Darbhanga, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav had said that if our government comes, we will form Mithila Development Authority for the development of Mithila region. So that the districts coming in Mithila region can be developed.

During this, while attacking the NDA, he said that there are many NDA MPs and MLAs in Mithilaanchal region. Despite this, the development of this region has not been possible. Waterlogging is a big problem here. JDU’s working president Sanjay Jha is furious over Tejashwi Yadav calling Mithila as Mithilaanchal. And on this issue, Lalu Yadav along with Tejashwi has also been implicated. By the way, the verbal war between JDU and RJD has intensified in Bihar politics these days.
