Himachal Pradesh Weather: Dry spell is going on in Himachal Pradesh in the month of October and there is no possibility of rain in the state till the coming week. During this period the temperature in 6 cities remained below 10 degrees. According to the forecast issued by Meteorological Center Shimla, there will be no rain in the state till October 22. There will be no snowfall even in tribal areas during this period. These days snowfall starts in the tribal areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Bharmour and Pangi, but this time the weather is clear here and snowfall will not be seen in the valleys of these areas for a week. Due to lack of rain, day temperature will remain normal across the state, but due to drop in minimum temperature the nights will be very cold.
According to the report of Meteorological Center Shimla, the nights are becoming cold due to the minimum mercury falling in the state. On Thursday, the minimum temperature in half a dozen cities of the state was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius. There has also been a decline in the night temperature in hill station Manali. At some places in Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur, the mercury has reached close to the freezing point and the water of rivers, streams, springs and natural water sources has started freezing. The minimum temperature was recorded at 2 degrees Celsius in Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti district. This was the coldest place in the state. The minimum temperature was recorded at 3.3 degrees in Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti district, 5.2 degrees in Kalpa of Kinnaur, 5.9 degrees in Samdho, 9.1 degrees in Manali and 9.8 degrees Celsius in Seobagh.
Solan nights are cooler than Shimla
The nights of Solan have become colder than the hill station Shimla. The minimum temperature recorded in Shimla on Thursday was 12.4 degrees Celsius while in Solan it was 11.4 degrees Celsius. If we look at the mercury in other cities, it is 12.7 degrees in Sundernagar, 12 degrees in Bhuntar, 14.4 degrees in Una, 14.9 degrees in Dharamshala, 13 degrees in Palampur, 18.2 degrees in Nahan, 14.8 degrees in Kangra, 16.2 degrees in Bilaspur, 16.2 degrees in Mandi. 16.3 degrees, 16.2 degrees in Bilaspur, 14.2 degrees in Chamba, 13.4 degrees in Dalhousie, 14.9 degrees in Jubbarhatti, 11.8 degrees in Bharmour, 17.5 degrees in Dhaula Kuan, 15.9 degrees in Barthin, 15 degrees in Kasauli, 20 degrees in Paonta Sahib, Sarahan. 12.5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Dehra, 17 degrees in Gopipur, 11.4 degrees in Mashobra and 11.9 degrees in Senj.
