Himachal Pradesh Weather: Dry cold continues in Himachal Pradesh. The nights have become cold due to the drop in minimum temperatures in many cities of the state. The mercury has reached close to the freezing point in the tribal areas. The cold has intensified in the plains also. The nights of Solan and Sundernagar are cooler than the capital Shimla. According to the Meteorological Department report, the minimum temperature recorded in Shimla on Wednesday was 11.8 degrees Celsius, while it was 11.6 degrees in Sundernagar and 10.2 degrees Celsius in Solan. Even in Palampur it is colder than Shimla. The minimum temperature recorded in Palampur was 11.5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has also issued an update regarding snowfall.

Kukumseri in the tribal district Lahaul-Spiti was the coldest place where the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.2 degrees Celsius. Similarly, 1.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tabo and 4 degrees Celsius in Keylong. The minimum temperature in Kinnaur’s Kalpa was 4.2 degrees Celsius and Reckong Peo was 7.5 degrees Celsius. Talking about other cities, 8.9 degrees Celsius has been recorded in tourist destination Manali, 10.3 degrees in Kufri, 13.4 degrees in Dalhousie, 15.4 degrees Celsius in Kasauli. Apart from this, it was 10.1 degree in Bhuntar, 14.8 degree in Dharamshala, 15.7 degree in Una, 17.6 degree in Nahan, 14 degree in Kangra, 14.9 degree in Mandi, 15.9 degree in Hamirpur, 16 degree in Bilaspur, 12.7 degree in Chamba and 14.2 degree in Jubbarhatti. Celsius has been recorded.

Meteorological Center Shimla has ruled out rain and snowfall till October 29. During this period, there will be no significant change in the average maximum and minimum temperatures of the state due to sunshine. It was sunny in the capital Shimla on Wednesday also. The state has received 97 percent less rainfall than normal in the month of October.
