Baramulla MP Rashid Engineer has come out of Tihar Jail after being granted bail by the NIA Special Court in the terror funding case. As soon as he came out, he attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that his dream of ‘Naya Kashmir’ will never be fulfilled. As soon as he came out of the jail, he said, “All I will say is that truth will prevail. I hope for justice. The election is important because Kashmir is in a crucial phase. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are united and will fight successfully for justice.”

Let us tell you that Rashid Engineer was granted interim bail till October 2 by the special NIA court in Delhi in the terror funding case. After this, he was released from Tihar Jail. He is leaving for Jammu and Kashmir today.

Abdul Rashid alias Engineer Rashid, after coming out of Delhi’s Tihar Jail on Wednesday, said that he wants to bring permanent peace in Kashmir and wants to prove that Kashmiris are not stone pelters.

After coming out of jail, he said, “After spending five and a half years in jail, I feel strong and proud of my people. I promise that I will not disappoint my people.”

He said, “I swear that I will fight against the concept of ‘Naya Kashmir’ created by Modi, which has been rejected by the people. What Modi did on August 5, 2019 has been rejected by the people.”

He said, “I want to bring peace in Kashmir forever and want to prove that Kashmiris are not stone-pelters. But we will not compromise with our political rights.”
