Bangladeshi intruders did illegal occupation
Let us know that the entire map of Chandola lake, which is considered to be the historical heritage of Ahmedabad, has changed the entire map in just 14 years. In 2010, the greenery and lake’s water storage capacity was unique in 2010. But in 2025 i.e. after 14 years, the picture here has changed. It can be clearly seen that there was a large -scale encroachment in the surrounding area of the lake. Bangladeshis illegally grabbed land illegally.

Deployment of 2,000 policemen
Chandola Lake became the largest shelter for Bangladeshi infiltrators. In the last 14 years, the size of Chandola lake, known as ‘Mini Bangladesh’, has reduced rapidly and pucca houses, mosques and small factories were started inside it. Now the government has taken major action against these illegal intruders. According to the release issued by the state government, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation installed more than 70 ‘Artemawar’ machines and 200 ‘dumpers’ to demolish illegal construction. At the same time, the government also deployed about 2,000 policemen along with 20 companies of the State Reserve Police (SRP) to maintain law and order during the campaign.
