A man in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is making rounds of the police station. The complainant said that the police is not listening to him. The reason for making rounds is his wife. Actually, the wife of Santosh Prajapati, who lives in Gol Pahadiya Janakpuri of the city, absconded within 17 days of marriage. As days, weeks and months passed, Santosh came to know about his wife’s act. The wife told Santosh the reason for her absence through Facebook messenger. Since then, Santosh is feeling cheated.
Everything was fine, but the wife ran away
Santosh has alleged that his wife has run away with the jewellery given to her at the time of marriage and the cash kept in the house. The reason for running away from home is second marriage. Santosh came to know about this quite late. Till his marriage, he was assuming everything was fine, but then one by one, his wife’s behaviour started becoming apparent to him. Then one day he returned home and found out that his wife was missing from home.
When cash and jewellery were found missing, they lost their senses
When he made enquiries here and there, he was told that Anjali had gone to her maternal home. He thought that she might have gone because she was missing her maternal home, but when he called her, his wife said that she would return in two-three days. But many days passed and Anjali did not return, so one day he opened the cupboard and was shocked. Gold jewellery worth 4 lakhs and cash worth 25000 given at the wedding was missing from the cupboard. This turned Santosh’s doubt into certainty.
She had already married her boyfriend
After this, when he went to Nitin Kushwaha, who was the marriage broker, he replied bluntly that our job is to make the marriage, we don’t care whether the wife stays or runs away. After this, he approached the police and since then he is making rounds for the hearing. One day his wife told him through Facebook messenger that she has married a second time. She sent the photos of her marriage. Santosh told the police that his wife had married her boyfriend in Arya Samaj temple 3 months before taking the seven vows. On this incident, ASP Gajendra Bardhaman says that we have received a complaint. The matter is being investigated, action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light.
