Sukhdev Gogamedi’s wife, while replying to Raj Shekhawat, said that Lawrence Bishnoi is in police custody, hence his encounter cannot take place. It will not happen even if one crore is given or even 100 crores. Gogamedi’s wife Sheela said that the statement was given for cheap popularity.

Kshatriya Karni Sena President Raj Shekhawat, who had a reward of Rs 1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111 on the encounter of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has got a paltry reply. This answer to Shekhawat has been given by Sheela, wife of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, to avenge whose murder she demanded an encounter of Lawrence and announced a reward. Sheela has said that this is a statement given for cheap popularity. He said that even if he is paid Rs 1 crore or Rs 50 crore, he cannot be encountered because he is under the custody of the police and the administration cannot do this.
Speaking to India Today, Sheela said, ‘If the man is in police custody then he cannot be killed. The police itself has given him Z Plus security, so how can they kill him? If he had absconded, there could have been an encounter on the way after being caught by the police. But he is under the control of the administration and they themselves are protecting him, so how will he be killed. Sheela said that this statement is not correct and has been given to gain popularity. Sheela said that there is no contact with Shekhawat. Sheela raised the question that if Raj Shekhawat Sukhdev Gogamedi wanted to get justice then why did he not come when he had taken out the Nyaya Yatra on March 3.
Sheela said, ‘What justice is this and what kind of justice is this? You know the administration will never agree to this. Give one crore or 50 crores. This is not in our constitution. Police cannot do such an encounter even if you give Rs 100 crore. Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Gogamedi was murdered in Jaipur last year. Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder.
Recently Raj Shekhawat said that he wants an encounter with Lawrence Bishnoi because of the murder of Gogamedi. He said that the policeman who encounters Lawrence will be given a reward of Rs 1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111.
