Male skeleton found in yoga posture
A DNA test of skeleton found in Yoga Mudra was done in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat. The 1000 -year -old skeleton was found in the year 2019. A male skeleton skull was also found from Vadnagar in a proper posture. Both of them were conducted a DNA test at Birbal Sahni Purchasion Institute in Lucknow.
Second skull turns out to be 2000 years old
Doctor Neeraj Rai of Lucknow has done DNA test. DNA test samples were taken from tooth and ear bone. The DNA test has revealed a unique secret. The second skull was also found to be 2000 years old.
This place must have been the center of Buddhism
The skeleton found in yoga posture may have been the center of Buddhism. People from different states of India and also from Central Asia have also come here. Carbon dating of skeletons and other scientific tests are also being done. A detailed DNA report is expected to come next month.
This skeleton lying in the open
Since 2019, it remained out without keeping the skeleton in the museum. After the excavation, the skull remained in the open. It has become necessary to keep the skeletons in the museum. Archaeological Museum has been prepared at Vadnagar at a cost of Rs 400 crore.
Remains related to Buddha were also found in excavation
