Haryana Election: All the political parties have started making their moves for the assembly elections in Haryana. An interesting contest has been set up on many seats during the assembly elections. This time there will be an interesting contest on the Rania assembly seat as well. Former power minister of the state Ranjit Chautala, who belongs to the Chautala family, has entered the election fray as an independent candidate on this seat. After being denied ticket by the BJP, he has shown a rebellious attitude and announced to contest the election as an independent.
The interesting thing is that after breaking the alliance with BJP, Jannayak Janata Party leader Dushyant Chautala has announced to support Ranjit Chautala on this seat. In return, Ranjit Chautala will support Dushyant Chautala’s brother Digvijay Singh Chautala who is contesting from Dabwali assembly seat. To corner Ranjit Chautala on Rania assembly seat, Indian National Lok Dal leader Abhay Chautala has fielded his son Arjun Chautala.
Dushyant supports Ranjit Chautala
Ranjit Chautala was a strong contender for the BJP ticket from Rania assembly seat but the party has denied him the ticket this time. Angered by this, Ranjit Chautala has shown a rebellious attitude and has jumped into the election fray as an independent candidate. Due to this, the difficulties of the BJP candidate in this assembly constituency have also increased. To challenge the BJP and Congress, Dushyant Chautala has also played a big game and has supported Ranjit Chautala.
Dushyant Chautala has played this game very thoughtfully. In return for support, he has also secured Ranjit’s support for his brother Digvijay Chautala in Dabwali. Abhay Chautala and Ranjit Chautala have united while the other camp of the Chautala family is opposing them. Ranjit Chautala will have to face Abhay Chautala’s son Arjun Chautala in Rania.
Grandfather claims victory against grandson
Arjun Chautala is Ranjit Chautala’s grandson. So, this seat will be contested between grandfather and grandson of Chautala family. On the issue of contesting election against grandson, Ranjit Chautala said that Arjun is my grandson and he has contested against me in the election field. He said that contesting election in our family does not affect family relations. If Arjun is contesting election, let him contest but he will not be able to win the election against me. In this way, Ranjit Chautala has claimed victory against his grandson even before the election.
There is a fight going on between uncle and nephew in Dabwali
In Dabwali assembly constituency too, there is a fierce battle within the Chautala family. Digvijay Chautala, brother of JJP leader and former deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, has entered the fray on this seat. Digvijay will face his own uncle Aditya Chautala. Aditya Chautala was in BJP for about 10 years but he rebelled after BJP denied him ticket. He has filed nomination against his nephew on INLD ticket. Interestingly, Aditya Chautala has the support of Abhay Chautala as well as the powerful Badal family of Punjab.
Aditya Chautala is the son of Jagdish Chautala, the youngest son of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal. He joined the BJP in 2014. Recently, he decided to leave the BJP and join INLD. After joining INLD, Abhay Chautala announced to field his cousin Aditya Chautala from Dabwali. In such a situation, there is a possibility of an interesting contest on this seat too.
