In 2014, a case was filed against Asaram and Narayan Sai in Surat. A gang was formed to attack the witnesses in this case. The leaders of this gang were Tamraj Sahu and Karthik. Whoever used to witness against Asaram and Narayan Sai, this gang tried to intimidate all those people and then attack and kill. Cases of attacking witnesses and attempting to burn alive were also reported. For the last 10 years, the police was looking for Tamraj Sahu.
Tamraj Sahu attacked a witness and attacked the back with a knife. But the witness of that witness was saved in the attack. One such witness was Dinesh Chandani. He was attacked with acid. Rakesh Jayantilal Patel, who did the business of the bakery, was also attacked with a knife. Three witnesses were attacked in Surat. Police found two dead bodies in Buldhana area of Maharashtra, in that case the police is suspicious of Tamraj Sahu’s hand. Both were first seekers of Asaram, later became their opponents, both were later killed.

Since 2016, he changed his religion and was living in Noida by adopting Christian religion. He also changed his name. His name in the police diary was Tamraj Sahu, later he also changed his name with religion. He started living in the name of Raj Stephen.
