Indian Air Service remained disrupted on Saturday. On Saturday, bomb threats were received on more than 30 flights. Aircraft of almost all airlines were included in this. Bomb threats on flights have been received more than 50 times in the last one week. According to people related to the airlines, there has been a loss of Rs 80 to 90 crore so far due to the protocols caused by these threats. Amid continuous threats to blow up planes, the ministry has decided to double the number of air marshals on flights. The Home Ministry has also sought a report from the Civil Aviation Ministry.

The threat to bomb the Indigo Airlines flight coming from Hyderabad to Chandigarh created a sensation. All the passengers of the plane were carefully deboarded at Chandigarh Airport and then the plane was isolated and searched. However, nothing like a bomb was found in the plane. Indigo Airlines flight 6E108 had departed from Hyderabad for Chandigarh. Then someone threatened to blow up the flight with a bomb. After landing at Chandigarh airport, all the passengers on board the Indigo Airlines flight were deboarded and the plane was checked. Along with Chandigarh Fire Department, vehicles and rescue teams of Chandigarh Operation Cell reached the spot.

Due to the bomb threat in the flight going from Lucknow to Ajmer (Kishangarh), passengers and security agencies were worried. The process of checking the plane continued till evening. After this, permission was given for flight departure. The passengers on the plane were terrified after receiving information about the bomb threat.
There was a situation of panic at the airport. The plane about to take off stopped on the runway and turned around and came back to the apron. Meanwhile, a large number of security personnel and dog squad surrounded the plane. After the stairs were installed, the passengers descended in fear and were immediately sent to the terminal. The airport spokesperson said that a threat assessment committee was called to investigate. Security measures were taken at the airport as per protocol by issuing a threat situation message.

There was information about bomb in Star Airlines’ Adampur to Hindon I flight.
There was a stir at Hindon Airport due to the threat of bombing the Star Airlines flight which reached Adampur (Jalandhar) on Saturday afternoon. At Hindon Airport, the local police along with SSF (Special Security Force) and bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough search of the flight. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief when nothing suspicious was found anywhere. However, till now the flight is still stuck in Hindon. There were 58 passengers in it. Airport security has also been increased as a precautionary measure.
Panic due to information of suspicious object in flight from Darbhanga to Mumbai on Saturday
There was panic at the airport after the news of suspicious object being found in SpiceJet flight SG 116 from Darbhanga to Mumbai on Saturday. On receiving the information, senior police officers reached the spot and started investigation. So far, no information has been received about the recovery of any suspicious object from the airport or inside the plane. The flight from Darbhanga to Mumbai is being investigated regarding this. Airport security has also been increased.
