District Collector of Barmer in Rajasthan, Tina Dabi is on action mode. Collector Tina Dabi has launched Navo Barmer Abhiyan to make Barmer clean and beautiful. Under the campaign, a mega cleanliness drive was started on the main roads of the city on Wednesday from 8 am. During this, the Collector herself came out on the streets. During this, she warned the shopkeepers who spread dirt.
Tina Dabi conducted a cleanliness drive on the road from Ahimsa Circle, the main square of Barmer city, to the Government Hospital. During this, she ordered the roadside shops and cart operators to ensure cleanliness in front of their shops. Also, she warned that in case cleanliness is not found for the second time, shopkeepers will be fined and temporary carts will be confiscated.
It is noteworthy that the country’s most famous IAS Tina Dabi has started an initiative to change the picture of the district after becoming the Barmer Collector. A few days later, the initiative to create Navo Barmer i.e. New Barmer was started. In its first phase, a mega cleanliness campaign has been started to make Barmer city clean and beautiful. Under this campaign, a target has been set to clean the city by October 2, in which the streets of the city have to be made garbage and dirt free with the participation of the general public.
IAS Tina Dabi says that until the citizens make cleanliness their habit, no change is possible, this is our endeavor. Such campaigns will be continued for 90 days with the participation of the general public. It takes 90 days to form a habit of any work. When cleanliness becomes a habit, then the picture of the city will change automatically. In such a situation, our endeavor is that the people of Barmer understand their responsibility and this city is our home and what is the shame in making the home neat and clean.
