Tirupati Temple Laddu Dispute: The controversy has increased after the matter of use of animal fat in the laddus served in Tirupati temple came to light. The previous Jagan Mohan Reddy government of Andhra Pradesh is being criticized a lot on this issue. Now this matter has reached the doorstep of the court. Senior leader of Yuvajana Sramika Raithu Congress Party (YSRCP) YV Subba Reddy has filed a petition in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on this issue. The court has agreed to hear the petition of YV Subba Reddy. This petition filed in the High Court will be heard on 25th September.
Subba Reddy made this demand to the court
YV Subba Reddy has filed a petition in the High Court on the controversy arising over adulteration of Tirupati temple’s laddus with animal fat and has demanded that this allegation be investigated by a sitting judge of the High Court. The High Court should form a committee for investigation or the investigation of this entire case should be handed over to the CBI. In this case, Sudhakar Reddy, who was the Additional Advocate General during the YSR Congress Party government, said that without verification, the person sitting on the Chief Minister’s chair (Chandrababu Naidu) should not make such serious allegations. Because this entire matter will hurt Hindu religion.
Senior YSRCP leader YV Subba Reddy sought permission to file a lunch motion petition in the High Court to bring out the truth about the use of fat in the laddus made in the Tirupati temple during the previous government of Andhra Pradesh. Actually, lunch motion petition is used in such cases in which immediate judicial intervention is required. The court hears such a petition before its turn comes. Advocate P Sudhakar Reddy, who is presenting arguments in the High Court on behalf of Subba Reddy, said about this matter that the court will hear the petition on Wednesday.
