Bengal Violence: Violence against the Waqf Amendment Act in Murshidabad is now catching political ongoing political. Senior Congress (TMC) senior leader and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh has given a big statement in the matter, saying that the violence did not happen suddenly, but there is a planned conspiracy behind it.
Ghosh claimed that some central agencies, a section of the Border Security Force (BSF) and two-three political parties may have a suspicious role in the conspiracy. He alleged that in connivance with some BSF officials, the international border was deliberately defaulted in security, so that the external miscreants could easily enter the state. The TMC spokesperson further said that these miscreants sparked violence in the state and returned safely, indicating that a deep conspiracy has been hatched to destabilize West Bengal and tarnish the image of the state. Currently, there has been a stir in the state politics after this statement and all eyes are on the reaction of the Center and BSF.
Security system in Murshidabad after Calcutta High Court order
Tight security arrangements have been made in Murshidabad district after the Calcutta High Court directed the deployment of central security forces in the violence affected areas. According to police sources, three people have died during recent violent incidents in Dhulian area of the district. To control the situation, along with the deployment of additional police forces, central forces have also been activated. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation and continuous patrolling and monitoring is being done to prevent any untoward incident.
