A major road accident took place in Kutch, Gujarat. A tractor carrying pilgrims was hit by a truck. Two women and a child died in this accident, while 11 others were injured. Giving information about the incident, the police said that a tractor returning with devotees from Ashapura Mata temple located at Mata No Madh in Lakhpat taluka was hit by a trailer truck coming at high speed from behind.
An official of Samakhiyali police station said that two women and a 9-year-old child died on the spot in the accident, while 11 other people were injured, out of which three were in critical condition. He said that all the victims were returning in a tractor and were residents of Khakharechi village in Morbi district. The officer said that the accident is being investigated.
Bus collides with three vehicles, 7 people killed
