It is not a new thing to receive money, jewellery or other valuables as offerings to the temple, but a different form of faith has been seen in Gwalior. A case of a different kind of offering has come to light here. Here a female devotee made Achalnath Mahadev her nominee in her life insurance policy instead of her close relatives. Now after the death of the same devotee, her insurance amount is going to be given to the temple trust.
When the insurance advisor of the deceased woman sent her policy and nomination documents to the temple, it was discovered that Rs 7 lakh 42 thousand of her insurance amount was coming into God’s account.
This interesting incident was seen in Gwalior’s famous Shiv temple Achaleshwar Mahadev or Achal Nath temple. Yesterday, a woman reached the office of Achaleshwar Trust and while giving some papers, said that the amount of LIC policy is to be deposited in the account of the Lord. Everyone was shocked to hear this.
Insurance advisor Sushma Bansal told that Madhuri Saxena, a resident of Peepal Wali Gali Thorat Ki Goth Lohia Bazaar, Gwalior, had taken an insurance policy (number 203810358) from the Life Insurance Corporation of India on 28 March 2017 during her lifetime. In which she had made Achleshvar Mahadev Sarvajanik Nyas her nominee. After some time, she started living in Delhi, where she died on 19 March 2022.
Insurance advisor Sushma, who reached the temple, handed over all the documents related to the insurance of late Madhuri Saxena to the Achleshwar Trust. People associated with the trust said that after receiving all the documents related to the policy after the death of the devotee, the trust has started the process of claim and soon the amount of Rs 7 lakh 42 thousand due from the devotee’s insurance policy will come to the trust account of God.
Let us tell you that Madhuri Saxena, who made the God the nominee, was an ardent devotee of Lord Bholenath and during her stay here, she used to come everyday to the temple of Lord Achleshwar Mahadev situated in the middle of the main road of Gwalior to have darshan and worship. Achleshwar Mahadev is famous not only in Gwalior-Chambal division but in the entire state.
