Uttarakhand cabinet meeting: A meeting of the Uttarakhand cabinet was held at the Secretariat on 18 June i.e. on Wednesday, June 18, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in which several major necessary proposals related to the cooperatives, animal husbandry, dairy and tourism areas of the state were approved.

After the meeting, all Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari gave information about the decisions through the press conference. He informed that the cabinet has decided to make audit necessary from blocks to state level in the cooperative department. For this, a new post of Deputy Registrar (Audit) Level-11 has been created, which will be filled according to five years of deputation.

Badrinath ‘Master Plan’ gets consent

To increase tourism in Badrinath Dham and enhance the beauty of the religious city, beautification works have been approved under the Master Plan. It will work on the walls of the city, especially on the walls of ISBT.

Big change in Ganga cow scheme

The cabinet has also made a major change in the ‘Ganga Cow Scheme’ of the Animal Husbandry Department and has agreed to merge it with about 90% subsidized scheme of Scheduled Castes. With this decision, people of general class will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. However, the decision on the subsidy rate for the general category will be taken in the next cabinet meeting.

Paving the way for appointments in Livestock Department

In order to strengthen livestock services in the state, the cabinet has also taken a big step in the way of filling about 429 vacant posts of livestock spread officers. Based on this, the training period of the officers has been reduced from 2 years to one year, which will give impetus to the recruitment process.
