Karmchand, a resident of Shergarh in Doiwala tehsil, complained that the canal for the necessary irrigation for his fields had broken, causing him to face a lot of problems. On this, Chief Minister Dhami ordered the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department to take immediate action. Similarly, Major Naresh Kumar Sakalani lodged a complaint about illegal encroachment and small irrigation canal construction on his land. The Chief Minister took the matter seriously and immediately ordered the District Magistrate Dehradun to investigate and take necessary steps.
