Uttarakhand news: A state level dialogue program will be organized by the Government of Uttarakhand on June 25 (Wednesday) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Emergency. In this program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will honor the democracy fighters and spouses of the late fighters during the Emergency during the Emergency. Also, the experiences of the Emergency period will also be shared.
Significantly, from 25 June 1975 to 21 March 1977, the Emergency was in force in the country, which is remembered as the most difficult phase of Indian democracy. The Uttarakhand government has decided to organize a series of public participation based programs on this important occasion.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Home Registered Kukreti, several important decisions were taken for organizing various programs under the instructions of the Government of India. In this, it was decided that a large -scale massive programs will be organized in all the districts of the state, in which exhibition will also be organized at 50 places on the subject of emergency.
In the main event organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, the democracy fighters and the life partners of the late fighters will be honored through the district officials. Various departments and district officials have been entrusted with the responsibility for the successful organization of the program.
This effort of the state government will not only be an opportunity to remember the contribution of democracy fighters, but will also introduce the new generation to the values of democracy and the importance of its protection.
