Uttarakhand news: Under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Free Gas Refils Scheme, the beneficiaries for filling the cylinder DBT. In the state, 01 lakh 84 thousand Antyodaya card holder families are associated with this scheme, about 10 lakh people of the state are taking advantage of the scheme. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday instructed the officials during the review of the Food Department at the Secretariat to ensure that Antyodaya card holders got 100 percent benefit of this scheme. Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to implement Chief Minister Antyodaya free gas refill scheme.
The Chief Minister directed in the meeting that data of all the beneficiaries registered under the National Food Security Act should be updated. Senior citizens and other eligible people should not be deprived of ration due to biometric difficulties, in all such cases should be ensured offline certification or ration distribution from alternative system. Protected and safe storage should be ensured by reviewing the current capacity of food storage and physical conditions of warehouses. He said that the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme should be implemented effectively so that there is no obstruction in getting ration from any place.
Real time transaction data monitoring
The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure monitoring of real time transaction data on the e-supply portal. Aadhaar seeding and mobile OTP based distribution system should be empowered. Action should be taken on the concerned by identifying fake ration cards. Dealers and officials who have taken carelessness or irregularity should be suspended immediately. Complete ration should be provided to all card holders every month. Concrete system of pre-stocking should be ensured in remote and mountainous regions. The status of state warehouses should be reviewed and modernized and expanded as required. Buffer stock plan should be prepared for every district. Ensure food grains supply to mid-day meal and Anganwadi centers in a timely manner. Timely disposal of complaints received on the Food Grievance Redressal system should be ensured.

Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari and Food Department officials were present.
