Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in an honor ceremony organized on the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the Chief Minister of the Chief Minister’s Housing. In the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this honor is the honor of the people of Uttarakhand. With the blessings of the people of the state, the dream of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand was realized. He said that by implementing the Uniform Civil Code, the state government has done the work of paying true tribute to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. The Chief Minister said that after the UCC is implemented, now the rights of all citizens in the state have become equal. The UCC has done the work of ending discrimination in society.
The Chief Minister said that women’s rights have been protected in the Uniform Civil Code. The safety of sisters and daughters has been ensured by making registration mandatory for live in relationship. He said that this Ganges of the Uniform Civil Code will go from Uttarakhand state to the whole country. He said that our ideology has been based on values like social harmony, cultural consciousness and national unity.
The Chief Minister said that it has been decided by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to celebrate 26 November as a national festival as Constitution Day. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the major sites associated with the memories of Babasaheb are also being developed as the Panch Tirtha of Rashtra Consciousness. He said that the state government has taken many tough decisions like strict anti -riot law, conversion law, and Operation Kalnemi. He said that the state government will not allow the state’s demography change under any circumstances. On this occasion former Governor and former Chief Minister Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Sadhvi Renuka, Swami Niranjan Chaitanya Maharaj, Vice President of Disaster Management Advisory Committee Mr. Vinay Ruhela, MLA Mr. Suresh Gadia, Safipur (Unnao, U.P.) MLA Mr. Bamba Lal Diwakar and others were present.
