Gold trader targeted
Police investigation revealed that a fake ED team raided the house of a gold trader in Gandhi Dham and escaped with goods worth lakhs. It is said that the team of fake officers went to a jewelers shop, the house of its owner and brothers and examined the gold, silver and cash. After that the team members fled with gold jewelery worth more than Rs 25 lakh. The accused used 3 four-wheelers and 1 Activa vehicle to commit the crime. A complaint was lodged against the fake ED at Gandhidham A Division Police Station.
In this case, the police seized gold biscuits worth Rs 7.80 lakh, gold ladies bracelet worth Rs 14 lakh 47 thousand, fake ID card of ED, 13 mobile phones worth Rs 2.25 lakh, including Mahindra XUV 500, Mahindra Bolero Neo, Renault Duster car, Honda Activa. Total received Rs. Goods worth Rs 45.82 lakh 206 were taken into custody.
