Violence has been seen in Haryana before the assembly elections. The convoy of Kahar Singh Rawat, an independent candidate from Palwal district adjacent to Faridabad, was attacked. Rawat remained safe in this attack, but four of his supporters were injured. After the incident, a complaint has been lodged with the police and the matter is being investigated.
The car of Kehar Singh Rawat, an independent candidate and former MLA from Hathin assembly constituency, was attacked by some unknown people on Friday night. During this, people armed with sticks vandalized his car. Many supporters of the independent MLA were injured in this attack. The injured have been treated in the government hospital.
When Kehar Singh Rawat was talked to on phone about this, he told that on Friday night he was distributing bags to his agents at all the booths. After distributing the bag, he was going to Palwal. When he reached Waheen village, some people attacked and vandalized his car near the police station. The attackers fled from the spot taking advantage of the darkness.
The independent candidate has alleged that the attackers belong to the BJP party. He told that the complaint about the matter has been given to the police station. After the elections are over, he will get action taken in this matter.
Elections are being held today on all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. Good enthusiasm of people is being seen in the voting which started from 7 am.
Congress candidate complains about outpost in-charge to election officer
At the same time, Congress candidate from Palwal Karan Singh Dalal has complained about Hathin Gate outpost in-charge to the Assembly Election Officer. He has accused Hathin Gate outpost in-charge Kuldeep of helping in distributing liquor and money in support of the BJP candidate. Karan Singh Dalal has said in the complaint given to the election officer that under the supervision of Hathin Gate police post incharge Kuldeep, liquor is being distributed from Sidhu Fitness Gym near Tankeshwar Temple on Sohna Road. When he himself reached the spot, he caught some people distributing liquor and money. When he called Hathin Gate police in-charge Kuldeep to the spot, he chased away those distributing liquor and money from the spot. It was said in the complaint that another police team should be deployed to raid the spot and Hathin Gate outpost in-charge Kuldeep should be immediately removed from his post. Apart from this, legal action should also be taken against him.
When city police station in-charge Renu was talked to, she said that there is nothing like this about such a complaint being given. When Hathin Gate outpost incharge Kuldeep himself was talked to, he also said that he had no information about such complaint.
