On Sanjauli Masjid in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that first of all he welcomes the initiative which he has voluntarily taken from today to demolish the illegal building and its illegal part of the 3rd floor.
Vikramaditya Singh said that since the matter is in the Municipal Corporation. If they want more time then they should file an application in the Commissioner Court that they want extension of time. The decision will be taken there. He feels that it would not be right for him to say anything in this matter. He appeals to the people of the state that there should be a good environment, there should not be any situation which spoils brotherhood.
Vikramaditya Singh said, we have to take the state forward. We have to worry about and protect the interests of 70 lakh people of the state, no matter what region, caste or religion they belong to. We have to look at the interests of all people and advocate for them.
He said that we are in a constitutional system and democratic structure. The court has its own dignity in this. I have a role. If any organization wants to go to higher courts regarding any decision, then it is their right. I can’t say anything on that.
