When Yogi Adityanath was shocked to hear 'Ram-Ram' from Maulvi, UP CM narrated the story of Jammu and Kashmir

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while referring to his recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir, talked about the major changes that have taken place after the abrogation of Article 370. While addressing an election rally in Faridabad, Haryana, he mentioned an interesting incident in which a Muslim cleric had greeted him by saying ‘Ram Ram’.

Yogi Adityanath told, “I was there for the last two days for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. It was raining, so I went straight inside the airport. During this, a person greeted me by calling me ‘Yogi Saheb Ram Ram’. Greeted. Later I came to know that he was a Maulvi. I was shocked to hear ‘Ram Ram’ from the Maulvi.

Calling it the effect of the abrogation of Article 370, the Chief Minister said that those who earlier challenged India’s sovereignty have now started saying ‘Ram Ram’. Yogi Adityanath further said, “With a strong India and a strong BJP, a day will come when they will be seen chanting ‘Hare Ram, Hare Krishna’ on the streets of the country.”

During the rally, Yogi Adityanath also stressed that there has been no communal violence in Uttar Pradesh in the last seven and a half years. He asked the public, “Have you heard about any riots in your neighboring state Uttar Pradesh in the last seven and a half years?” The crowd unanimously answered ‘no’. “Earlier, there were riots every two or three days,” he said.

Voting for 90 seats of Haryana Assembly will be held on October 5, while the counting of votes will take place on October 8. The Election Commission has shifted the voting date from October 1 to October 5 and the date of counting of votes for both the states of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir has been fixed as October 8.
