Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met Jagdishbhai Jethwa and his family
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel interacted with a family during his visit to Vadodara city who actively promotes Shri Ann (millet) and its nutritious khichdi. CM Patel met Jagdishbhai Jethwa, known as Khichdi King.
Who is Jethwa?
Jagdishbhai Jethwa is a resident of Vadodara and campaigns on khichdi in the country and abroad. The specialty of Jethwa is that he throw light on the nutritional benefits of Shri food and encourage to include khichdi in the daily diet. Jagdishbhai Jethwa is widely known as ‘Khichdi King’.
Explain that an analysis made at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has shown that Khichdi made from Shri food has 16 essential nutrients.
PM Modi started the campaign
PM Narendra Modi launched a campaign to promote Shri food intake for better physical health, which Jethwa is actively carrying forward. Appreciating his efforts, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met the Jethwa family and gave his best wishes and inspired his continuous dedication.
Jagdishbhai Jethwa presented a mixture prepared for khichdi and kadhi to the Chief Minister, showing their suitability for children, youth, women and the elderly. He was accompanied by Milanben Jethwa and his children Danish and Devanshi in this meeting. The Chief Minister had a soulful meeting with the Jethwa family, which was greatly impressed by his simplicity and humility.
Photos of Jethwa family and CM Bhupendra Patel’s meeting have also been revealed. In which everyone looks quite happy. Even by working on top of the khichdi, someone can be so famous that CM himself meets him, this is an interesting thing.
