The uproar over the NCERT controversy in Madhya Pradesh is increasing. Dr. Raghav Pathak, a resident of Khajuraho, filed a complaint regarding the chapter titled ‘Chithi Aayi Hai’ in NCERT’s Class 3 environment book Aas Paas. While complaining, he said that love jihad has been promoted in this chapter. The matter now seems to be gaining momentum.
Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has also protested against this. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said, why did Reena not write a letter to Akash, Avinash, Adarsh instead of Ahmed? Dirty thoughts are being filled in the minds of innocent children. He has demanded from the government that this book should be withdrawn.
In fact, the issue of love jihad in NCERT’s class 3 book is gaining momentum. Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that dirty thoughts are being filled in the minds of innocent children since childhood. He raised the question that why names like Avinash, Adarsh, Akash were not used instead of Ahmed. Why did Reena write a letter to Ahmed only? There may be some motive behind giving such material in the book. Dhirendra Shastri has demanded to recall all the books and remove such chapters immediately.
Regarding the objection raised on a chapter of the book, Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that the power of the anti-religion people is continuously increasing. The feelings of 100 crore Hindus are being played with. He said that the kind of language used in understanding the format of the letter is raising many questions. Why should a Hindu girl studying in class three write a letter to a Muslim boy? Strict legal action should be taken against those who develop such feelings in small children.
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that the responsibility for foiling such conspiracies and crushing the conspirators cannot be fixed on a single person. All the Hindus of the country will have to raise their voice against such forces in one voice.
