You may have seen bulldozers running on the illegal properties of criminals, but a shocking incident has happened in Bharuch district of Gujarat. Here a married woman ran away with a man from the village. After this, the woman’s husband and her family got angry and got a bulldozer at the house of the lover and her relatives. The police have arrested 6 people in this case.
What is the whole matter?
The incident took place on 21 March in Kareli village of Jambusar taluka district. According to the information, a married woman from Anklav taluka located in Anand district ran away with her lover Mahesh Phulmali. Mahesh Phulmali is already divorced and a resident of Kareli village in Jambusar taluka. When the woman’s husband and in -laws came to know about the incident, they went to Mahesh Phulmali’s house and threatened her family and demanded to present her in two days. Accused Hemant Padhiyar, Sunil Padhiyar, Balwant Padhiyar, Soham Padhiyar and Chirag Padhiyar reached the house of the absconding person and asked his family members to present her within two days.
When Mahesh did not arrive, angry relatives also assaulted Phulmali’s sister. After this, at around 9 pm on Friday night, the woman’s family arrived with bulldozers and partially dropped six houses of Mahesh Phulmali and her relatives. These included sheds, toilet blocks and separate rooms.
Came to meet parents, absconded with lover
Inspector BM Chaudhary of Vedach Police Station said that the family members of the woman were also among the arrested accused. Chaudhary said that the family suspected that a person from another community had drove the married woman away and in this anger he broke the houses of the person and his relatives with a bulldozer. He told that the woman came to her parents’ house and from here she escaped with the person. After this, the woman’s parents lodged a complaint with the Anand police station. The police have registered an FIR against all the accused, including the bulldozer driver and arrested them. (With language inputs)
