Shivraj Singh Chouhan
The 21-day lockdown announced by the Prime Minister has completed half of its period. In such a situation, the question is being raised everywhere whether the lockdown will end after 21 days or will continue further. On this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that the decision to end or extend the lockdown will depend on the circumstances. Let us tell you that Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has suggested that it would be appropriate to extend the lockdown in the state till June 3 after April 14. He said in a meeting that he would appeal to Prime Minister Modi to extend the lockdown.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the life of the public is more important. As far as the question of lockdown is concerned, we will bear it. We will revive the economy later, but if life is lost, how will it come back? Now, in the situation that I am seeing in Bhopal and Indore, we need to be very cautious and therefore, if needed, we will extend it further. The life of the public is most important for us, for this we will look at the situation.
