A case of gang rape of a woman at knife point has come to light in Palghar district of Maharashtra. According to the report, this incident took place in Santosh Bhavan in Nalasopara area. Based on the statement of the 32-year-old woman, Tulinj police have registered a case against two accused. The case has been registered under section 70 (1) and 351 (2) of IPC. The accused have been identified as Jitendra Yadav and Avi Jaiswal. However, they have not been arrested yet. Tulinj police say that they have started searching for the accused.
On the other hand, a person has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 41-year-old bank employee in Navi Mumbai. Police gave this information on Sunday. The officer said that a case was registered at Panvel police station on the complaint of the woman. The accused was arrested on Friday under the relevant provisions of the Indian Justice Code. He said that the accused, who works as a driver in the bank, befriended the said woman bank employee a few months ago and had physical relations with her.
Threatening to make the sex video viral
The police officer said that he made a video of the sexual intercourse without the consent of the woman. He took photographs and later used them to threaten the victim. He said that the accused sexually exploited the victim by threatening to share the recording with her family and colleagues in the bank. When the woman resisted the accused’s advances, he allegedly abused and beat her, the officer said. He said that the matter is being investigated.
