Animal Welfare Activist Group received the news of a snake lying unconscious in an injured condition near Vrindavan Char Rasta in Vadodara. After this, when the team reached the spot, they found a snake lying on the roadside. He was not doing anything. At first it seemed as if the snake was dead, but when it was touched, there was slight movement in it. Meanwhile, a member of the group found a way to give CPR. A young man from the Welfare Group picked up the snake from the ground, gently took it near his mouth and started giving CPR. He kept blowing it gently through his mouth and the snake slowly started moving.

The name of the person who saved the snake’s life is Yash. He told that as soon as we got information about the condition of the snake, we immediately reached the spot. There the snake was seen almost dead. When I touched it, there was still some movement left. After this I saved him by giving CPR. I felt very relieved and happy after saving the snake’s life. After this we handed over the snake to the forest department. He told that these snakes are generally found around rivers, ponds and lakes. They often come to the surface only at night. Generally such snakes make frogs and fishes their food. This snake was not poisonous, but its nature could be irritable. Therefore, we should not trouble them unnecessarily.
