A major accident took place during the Congress rally in Haryana Assembly elections. A youth died due to electrocution at the rally of Congress candidate Jassi Petwad from Narnaund assembly constituency in Hisar district. The deceased has been identified as Veerbhan, a 26-year-old youth resident of Bas Badshahpur. It is being told that there was a lot of crowd in the rally and due to the pushing and shoving, the young man got stuck in the electrical wires. He lost his life due to electrocution. Police have kept the body at Hansi Civil Hospital for post-mortem. Congress MP Deependra Hooda also attended the rally.

On Thursday, Congress had held a rally in Narnaund grain market in support of Congress party candidate Jassi Petwad from Narnaund constituency. Congress MP Deependra Hooda had come as the keynote speaker. In the rally, the youth started pushing and shoving near the stage, due to which some youth got entangled in the electrical wires. One of these youths, Veerbhan, got electrocuted and at that very moment he fell on the ground in an unconscious state. First he was taken to Narnaund General Hospital, but seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Hisar, but he died on the way.
