Andy Murray News: British tennis star Andy Murray recently announced that he will donate all proceeds from this year’s tournament to help Ukrainian children. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on since February 24. According to news agencies, two million people (mostly women and children) have fled Ukraine since the war began.
Andy Murray tweeted, “More than 7.5 million children are at risk due to the growing conflict in Ukraine, so I am working with UNICEF UK to help provide urgent medical supplies and children’s development kits. Vital Education To continue, UNICEF is trying to help displaced children, as well as rebuilding damaged schools and providing equipment and furniture.”

This three Grand Slam winning player has also appealed to all the people to come forward and help.
Murray, who has been battling poor form, recently joined his former coach Evan Lenden. He will be seen playing as a wild card in the Indian Wells ATP 1000 tournament starting March 10.
Before Murray, several tennis associations have also come forward to help the war victims of Ukraine. Tennis associations like ATP, WTA have announced to donate around Rs 5.40 crore.
