Former India cricketer Arun Lal on Tuesday i.e. 12 July 2022 resigned from the post of coach of Bengal Ranji team citing health and personal reasons. However, the Indian Express wrote only last month that the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is considering removing Arun Lal from his post after Bengal’s defeat against Madhya Pradesh in the semi-finals of the 2022 Ranji Trophy.
Since the Cricket Association of Bengal (Cricket Association of Bengal/CAB) President Avishek Dalmiya is currently in the UK, Arun Lal, 66, went to the Eden Gardens on Tuesday and submitted his resignation to Secretary Snehasish Ganguly.
