Asia cup 2025: There are clouds of crisis over the Asia Cup 2025. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it clear about the upcoming meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The meeting is scheduled to be held on July 24 in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, but BCCI has clearly stated that if the location of the meeting is not changed, it will boycott any decision taken in the meeting.
BCCI demands to change the meeting venue
According to reports, in view of the current political situation in Bangladesh and increasing tension, BCCI had already demanded ACC to change the place of meeting. However, there has been no response from ACC President Mohsin Naqvi so far. Mohsin, who is also the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is currently the President of ACC.
BCCI’s big statement: Boycott if there is no decision there
According to sources, BCCI has said, “The Asia Cup can only be replaced by Dhaka. We have already talked to the ACC on this issue, but no response has come so far. If Mohsin is adamant on holding a meeting in Dhaka, BCCI will boycott any decision.”
