PCB threatens to snatch hosting rights

Sources say that after India’s refusal, now consideration is being given to shifting the tournament to some other country. However, this step is not acceptable to Pakistan under any circumstances.
A report published in ‘Dawn’ quoting the Pakistan Cricket Board has said that if the rights to host the tournament are taken away from Pakistan, then it can withdraw its name from the ICC Champions Trophy to be held next year. A source in PCB says that if the tournament is shifted to some other country then Pakistan can take a big decision of not participating in this tournament.
This has also been conveyed to the PCB by the Government of Pakistan. Along with this, there is also speculation that the Pakistan government may also direct the PCB not to play against India in ICC or any other event until there is a change in the policies of the Indian government.
