Former Sri Lankan cricket team bowler Lasith Malinga always kissed the ball before bowling. Lasith Malinga believed that he would be able to do well in the game.

Former leg -spinner Anil Kumble of Team India used to give his cap and sweater to Sachin Tendulkar. This is because Anil Kumble was handed over to Sachin Tendulkar before bowling Anil Kumble in the second innings against Pakistan in the Delhi Test in 1999. Mohammad Azharuddin always wore a black amulet around his neck. The special thing was that whenever he used to get into the field for batting, he used to take this talisman out of the shirt. During the batting, Mohammad Azharuddin always kept his shirt’s collar standing.
