FICCI Sports Uttar Pradesh Chapter: Taking a historic step for the sports of Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Kanishka Pandey has been appointed as the President of FICCI Sports Uttar Pradesh Chapter. A leading sports researcher, policy advocate, and champion of sports-operated social change-Dr.. Dr. Pandey, a resident of Lucknow, has done his schooling from St. Francis College, Lucknow, currently working as the head of the Center for Sports Research at IMT. Has been a tireless lawyer to recognize the right to sports as a fundamental right. His work has consistently highlighted the role of sports in nation building, youth empowerment, economic development and social harmony. His research and policy contribution has affected the national and international level, making him a tremendous force to shape India’s sports landscape.
In his new role, Dr. Pandey will lead to strategic cooperation, by influencing policy reforms and by taking initiative of impressive ground level, will lead to effectively defines in redefining the sports industry of Uttar Pradesh. His approach is to convert Uttar Pradesh to a model state where sports are not just one activity but a catalyst for development, employment and social progress.
