Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and star batsman Virat Kohli were seen asking each other questions on BCCI TV. BCCI has shared a small part of this interview of both. In this video, Gambhir has mentioned Kohli’s 2014-15 Australia tour. Kohli asked, ‘The Australia series was explosive’. To which Gautam Gambhir said, I remember when the Australia series was explosive, you scored a lot of runs and you were in a different zone. It was the same for me in Napier. If I look back, could I have batted for two and a half days again? I don’t think I could have done the same again. After this, I have never gone into that zone.
Virat Kohli asked Gambhir that when you fight with the opposition players on the field, do you think that by doing this you can come out of your zone or you will get out or you will be more motivated. On this Gambhir said that you have fought more on the field than me. That is why I think you can answer this better than me.
