ICC T20 Rankings: Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has now again become the world’s number one all-rounder in T20. Hardik Pandya has achieved this kingship in the latest rankings of T20 players released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. Young cricketer Tilak Verma has taken a huge leap in the list of batsmen. Tilak Verma has entered the top ten by climbing 69 places. Wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson has also jumped 17 places to reach 22nd position.

Hardik Pandya again reached number one

Hardik Pandya, known for his excellent performance in bowling and batting, has again achieved the title of number one all-rounder in T20. Hardik Pandya has secured the number one position, leaving behind England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Ari. Hardik currently has 244 rating points while Livingstone has slipped to third place with 230 points. Deependra Singh Eri of Nepal is at second place.

Hardik Pandya played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs in the second Test T20 match played against South Africa. Along with this, he also took two wickets in the series.

India defeated South Africa 3-1 in this T20 series. This is the second time that Hardik Pandya has secured the first position in the T20 all-rounder rankings. Earlier also at the end of T20 World Cup 2024, Hardik Pandya had secured the number one position.

Tilak Verma defeated Surya and Babar

Team India’s young batsman Tilak Verma has also got a huge advantage in the ICC rankings. Tilak Verma has entered the top ten by jumping 69 places. Tilak Verma has reached the third position by defeating Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan’s star player Babar Azam.

Tilak Verma has got the advantage of playing century innings in the third and fourth T20 matches against South Africa. He also won the Man of the Series award after scoring 280 runs in the series against South Africa.

Suryakumar Yadav, who was once on top in the T20 rankings, has now fallen even below Tilak Verma. Now he has reached number four. Surya proved unsuccessful in the series against South Africa. He scored only 26 runs in three innings, due to which he had to suffer loss.

Sanju Samson jumped to 22nd position

Like Tilak Verma, Sanju Samson also scored 2 centuries in the T20 series against South Africa. Sanju Samson has now jumped 17 places to reach 22nd position. Sanju Samson scored centuries in the first and fourth T20 matches against South Africa. However, he also had to suffer the loss of being out for zero in the second and third T20 matches.
