Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel also took 2 wickets each. Only Jos Buttler scored good runs for England, he scored an inning of 68 runs, but it was not enough to help the team win. England could reach only 132 runs and Team India won the match in 43 balls, which is its biggest win against England.
Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant innings
Abhishek Sharma destroyed the England bowlers on the Pata pitch of Kolkata. He thoroughly outclassed Joffra Archer, Mark Wood, Adil Rashid and Gus Atkinson. Sanju Samson also batted fast and scored 22 runs. However, he was out after scoring 26 runs. Tilak Verma scored 19 not out.

Team India also created a new world record by defeating England. Team India now holds the record of fastest target of more than 130 runs against England. Earlier this record was in the name of Australia, which had defeated England in 14.3 overs in 2018, while Team India did it in 12.5 overs.
