IND vs Eng Test Match: Amid the ongoing Test series against England, former captain of the Indian cricket team and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement. He said that England team will not win a single Test match in India, India can win the series by a margin of 4-0 or 5-0. Ganguly questioned the performance against England and said that the visit is proving to be extremely difficult for the visiting team.
Criticism of Team Selection Committee
India scored 471 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, England has made the match exciting by scoring 465 runs in the second innings thanks to Oli Pope’s brilliant century. Sourav Ganguly has criticized the Indian Team Selection Committee selected for the series against England. He has expressed displeasure at not joining Shreyas Iyer in the team.
Test team should have got a chance
He said that he is constantly doing well, he should have got a chance in the Test team. He further said that Shreyas has been playing well for the last one year, scoring runs under pressure, also plays short balls well, Test cricket is different, but I want him to be given a chance to visit. Taking a sarcasm at the selectors, he said that it is rare that no player should be selected in the team even after performing well.
