IND vs Eng Test Series: The Indian cricket team is currently on a tour of England, where the series of five Test matches is going to start from June 20. The team is currently preparing vigorously at the practice camp in Bekanham, London. Meanwhile, a big news has come out about the team’s vice -captain and wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant.
When Team India was practicing on Sunday, Rishabh Pant first batted against the throdow bowlers. He did good batting while focusing on his footwork and timing. He then faced the balls of spinners, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav as well as fast bowlers-Jaspreet Bumrah, famous Krishna, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammad Siraj.
Pant looked in good rhythm and was batting with confidence. But then the head coach Gautam Gambhir approached the nets and stopped Pant from batting. Gambhir spoke to him for a while and then stood on one side and started looking at his batting. Everyone was surprised to see this, because Gambhir usually does not stop any batsman in the middle of practice.
Was Pant hurt?
During the practice, Pant had a ball on his left hand, after which he immediately went out of the nets. The team doctor saw his hand, put an ice pack on it and tied the bandage. After this, Pant rested for about an hour. Later Pant told that he is fine now. Doctors also say that this is not a serious injury, Rishabh Pant is returning to the team after a long time and he is an important player of the team. His experience and performance on England’s difficult pitches can be beneficial for India. Now everyone’s eyes are on whether Pant will be fully fit in the first Test match starting from June 20 or not.
