Sports News: India, the most populous country in the world, the global sports, including the Olympics, is constantly falling short on the stage. The challenge is not in the absence of talent, but in the lack of a skilled talent identification system. This difference leads to limited access to mismatched opportunities, unused capacity and a variety of sports, which disrupts the progress of the country. Climb, a leading sports-tech startup, is on the mission to change this story.
Taking advantage of state -of -the -art technology, the climb integrates a fanatory analysis and advanced evaluation to evaluate physical and psychological symptoms of athletes. This data-manual approach helps to identify sports that are best suited for their abilities, enhancing their capacity for success and providing analog development route.
More than only one platform, Climb is building a movement to revolutionize youth games in India. By creating a permanent ecosystem and promoting community cooperation, startup tries to empower young athletes and increase Indian Games to global prominence.
As part of this initiative, Climb recently hosted its first rapid chess tournament in Lucknow, indicating the onset of its efforts to nurture sports communities at the ground level. The event provided young enthusiasts a professional platform to compete, detect their passion for chess and to directly experience the spirit of the game.
The opening competition received tremendous response, with more than 100 registrations and 82 participants competed in seven categories: Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 19, Above 19, Veterans and An Open category. The youngest contestant was just six years old, while the oldest participant was a will of the timeless appeal of the game, 75.
The competition was exposed by Pawan Batham’s brilliant performance, securing the first position in the open category and earned a cash prize of ₹ 5,000 with an anitime fitness membership of ₹ 7,500. Among the other winners who won the first prize in other categories, Kamlesh Kumar Kesarwani (Veteran category) Ayan Asthana (above 19), Tejaswa Singh (below 19 category), Atik Sagar (below 15 category), Partha Gupta ( Category below 13), Reyansh Kashyap (below 11 category).
With a total cash prize of more than ₹ 25,000, the event recognized and inspired young talents, celebrating their achievements and distributed 10 prizes per category to inspire the next generation of athletes.
Climb collaborated with the Palm Golf Club as a venue partner and included three sponsors: anitime fitness as a fitness partner, retro thread as a fashion partner and Riddhi Medicare as a healthcare partner.

Encouraged by the success of its first event, Climb is preparing to organize tournaments in various sports in the coming months.
