Rajasthan Royals (RR) youngster Riyan Parag reacted in a manner that was not liked by the people during Qualifier 1 against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. He was seen getting angry at Devdutt Padikkal during fielding. Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin behaved in a similar manner after being run out in the last over during Rajasthan’s batting. Parag’s attitude was criticized. Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav took a jibe at him.
People trolled Parag on social media. One user wrote, “Garba queen Riyan Parag’s attitude is as if she has scored more than 700 runs.” Another user called it overacting. One user wrote Bhai Ryan, what is the attitude of Parga Tere, brother? One user wrote that the main problem is that Riyan Parag thinks that he is Virat Kohli, but in reality he has not achieved anything like Vijay Shankar. One user called him the most immature young cricketer in cricket history.
Star cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has also reacted to Riyan Parag’s reaction. “Amazing attitude on the field,” he tweeted tauntingly. Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets to become the first team to reach the final of IPL 2022. Royals smashed Jos Buttler’s 89 off 56 balls and scored 188 for six in 20 overs.
Rajasthan’s score was considered challenging for Gujarat, but Hardik Pandya (40 not out off 27 balls) and David Miller (68 runs in 38 balls) gave the team victory by making a century partnership. The match was very exciting. In the last over, Gujarat needed 16 runs to win. David Miller ended the match by hitting three sixes in three successive balls from famous Krishna.
After the match, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya said, “I am proud that all the 23 players in the team are different. They all bring different things to the competition. I just told Miller that if you have good people around you, you get good things. Rashid did a great job throughout the tournament but I am more proud of Miller. I told him that the game should be respected. Against Mumbai Indians, we made a mistake and wanted to respect the game here. We both wanted to end the match.
