The mega auction for the 18th season of IPL can be held in December 2024 or February 2025. The IPL 2022 mega auction was held in the month of February. Therefore, this time too the IPL mega auction can be held in the month of February. The IPL 2025 mega auction can be held in any one of the cities of Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata. Before the IPL 2022 mega auction, all the franchises were allowed to retain a maximum of four players (3 Indian and one foreign).
