Some rules have changed regarding the superover. Now many super matches can be played until 1 hour after the match ends. If the match is tied, then the super over should start within 10 minutes. If the super over is also a tie, then the second super over has to start within 5 minutes.
If the time will be over after 1 hour, the match referee will tell both the captains which super over is to be final. In the main match, the warning that the players will have got or what will be more time will have to continue in the super over.
According to the rules of the super over, every team has to play an over of six balls in the super over (until 2 wickets fall) and the winning team will be the one who will score more runs, no matter how many wickets.
The team’s innings will end after two wickets fell in the super over. If the super over is also tie, then there will be super over. Any penalty time given in the match will be carried forward in the super over.
At the same time, the umpires will stand at the place where they were at the end of the match. The team that chases the target will have to bat first in the super over. If the super over is not complete, the match will be declared equal and both teams will be distributed equally. In such a situation, all these rules will have to be followed by teams.
