IPL 2025 Update: These 45 players including Dhoni, Rohit have been retained, see the complete list.

IPL 2025 Retention: Fans are eagerly waiting for IPL 2025. Meanwhile, the retention list of players has also been released. Many surprising names are also included in the retained players. The list of released players is also quite surprising. Actually, discussions regarding the retention list were intense for some time. After which finally this list has been released. So let’s see the complete list of IPL 2025 Retention:

47 players retained for IPL 2025

A total of 47 players have been retained for IPL 2025. Among these, there are some names who are intact with their teams and some teams have not even retained their previous season’s captains. This means that Mumbai Indians have retained Rohit Sharma. Whereas Delhi Capitals has released Rishabh Pant. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have retained the most players. Both these teams have retained 6-6 players. However, KKR team has not retained captain Shreyas Iyer. Under the captaincy of Iyer, KKR had won the IPL title last year i.e. 2024. Apart from this, Lucknow Super Giants has also not retained KL Rahul. Whereas Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli have been retained by the teams.

The retained players and their price money for IPL 2025 are as follows:

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):

MS Dhoni (4 crore), Ravindra Jadeja (18 crore), Ruturaj Gaikwad (18 crore), Shivam Dubey (12 crore) and Mathisha Pathirana (13 crore)

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB):

Virat Kohli (21 crores) Yash Dayal (5 crores) and Rajat Patidar (11 crores)

Gujarat Titans (GT):

Shubman Gill (16.5 crore), Rashid Khan (18 crore), Rahul Tewatia (4 crore), B Sai Sudarshan (8.5 crore), and Shahrukh Khan (4 crore)

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR):

Sunil Narine (12 crore), Andre Russell (12 crore), Rinku Singh (13 crore), Harshit Rana (4 crore), Ramandeep Singh (4 crore) and Varun Chakraborty (12 crore)

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):

Heinrich Klaasen (Rs 23 crore), Pat Cummins (Rs 18 crore), Travis Head (Rs 14 crore), Abhishek Sharma (Rs 14 crore) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (Rs 6 crore)

Delhi Capitals (DC):

Axar Patel (16.5 crore), Kuldeep Yadav (13.25 crore), Tristan Stubbs (10 crore) and Abhishek Porel (4 crore)

Rajasthan Royals (RR):

Sanju Samson (18 crore), Yashasvi Jaiswal (18 crore), Riyan Parag (14 crore), Sandeep Sharma (4 crore), Shimron Hetmyer (11 crore) and Dhruv Jurel (14 crore).

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG):

Nicholas Pooran (21 Crore), Ravi Bishnoi (11 Crore), Mayank Yadav (11 Crore), Mohsin Khan (INR 4 Crore) and Ayush Badoni (4 Crore)

Punjab Kings (PBKS):

Shashank Singh (5.5 crore) and Prabhsimran Singh (4 crore)

Mumbai Indians (MI):

Jasprit Bumrah (INR 18 crore), Suryakumar Yadav (16.35 crore), Hardik Pandya (16.35 crore), Rohit Sharma (16.30 crore) and Tilak Verma (8 crore)
