Giving this information through social media, Jai Shah said that the players will also get fees for every match. Players sold at low prices will benefit greatly from this decision. In such a situation, now players will be given Rs 7.5 lakh for a match. In fact, players who are sold at low prices in the IPL auction suffer huge losses. But now the players will benefit a lot from this new match fee rule. Actually the match fee will be in addition to the contract amount. BCCI has decided that each franchise will get Rs 12.60 crore as match fee for one season. If a player plays all the matches then such a player will get more than Rs 1 crore. This amount will be separate from the contract.
Jay Shah shared a post on X and wrote, ‘Celebrating the excellent performance of IPL, a historic step has now been taken. Now our cricketers will get Rs 7.5 lakh as match fee. Players who play all the league matches in a season will be given Rs 1.05 crore apart from the contract money. For this, every franchise will now be given Rs 12.60 crore for one season. In such a situation, many players are sold at low price or at base price only. In such a situation, such players will get further incentive from match fees.
