In 2013, three players from Rajasthan Royals were caught on match fixing. Three players – S. Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila, and Ankit Chavan – were arrested on charges of spot fixing. All three players were accused of taking money from bookies. As a result, the BCCI banned these three players for a lifetime.
